
Ysabella (Bea) Sardillo is a graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a degree in Public Affairs and Education Studies. Her passions are community engagement and advocating for progressive policies within and beyond the education system. During her senior year of college, she researched post-secondary pathways of first-generation LAUSD alumni to assess college-readiness initiatives with the UCLA Center for Community Schooling. Her senior capstone with the LA Civil Rights Department centered on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to promote more empowering workplaces for members of all communities. In her free time, she can be found celebrating her Filipina heritage, scrolling on Pinterest, being in nature, or exercising (6x LA marathon finisher!).
