Just Say Hello. Hola. Annyeonghaseyo. Kumusta.

Los Angeles is a city of millions of people, hundreds of languages, and countless communities from the mountains to the sea. But we all have one thing in common: We call this city home.

With our #LAForAll campaign, LA Civil Rights worked tirelessly to promote anti-discrimination and belonging For All! We remain dedicated to making everyone feel welcome in Los Angeles. With the Just Say Hello campaign, all of us have the power to make our city more resilient, more inclusive, and more united. Like #LAForAll, Just Say Hello was designed by Masaki Koike and meets at the intersection of art, advocacy, and community.

It’s simple. When we start with “hello,” we break down the invisible barriers that keep us isolated. We become more rooted in our neighborhoods, more connected to our city, and we may find that we have far more in common than we thought. With each “hello,” we create a Los Angeles community that’s stronger than division and open to more possibilities. Because hate has no home in Los Angeles. So just say hello to your fellow Angeleno. Break old barriers and build bridges to a more connected Los Angeles. A better Los Angeles starts here. It starts with all of us.

It starts with Hello!
