Just Say Hello. Hola. Annyeonghaseyo. Kumusta.

A New Chapter of Our Award-Winning #LAForAll Campaign

Los Angeles is a city of millions, speaking hundreds of languages and representing countless communities from the mountains to the sea. But no matter our differences, we all call this city home.

As the next phase of our award-winning #LAForAll campaign, Just Say Hello continues the work of LA Civil Rights to advance belonging, inclusion, and anti-discrimination across our city. Designed by Masaki Koike, this campaign lives at the intersection of art, language, advocacy, and community. It empowers every Angeleno to make Los Angeles more resilient, more inclusive, and more united.

It starts with one word: Hello.  The campaign is available in the following 11 languages:

  • Russian: Привет (Privet)
  • Simplified and Traditional Chinese: 你好 (Nǐ hǎo)
  • Korean: 안녕하세요 (Annyeonghaseyo)
  • Spanish: Hola
  • Croatian: Pozdrav zdravo
  • Italian: Ciao
  • Japanese: こんにちは (Konnichiwa)
  • Thai: สวัสดี (S̄wạs̄dī)
  • Cambodian (Khmer): សួស្តី (Suŏ sdei)
  • Vietnamese: Xin chào
  • English: Hello

A simple greeting has the power to break down invisible barriers, spark connection, and remind us that we belong to something greater than ourselves. Every "hello" helps build a city rooted in kindness, community, and shared humanity—because hate has no home in Los Angeles.

LA is For Everyone.  So, Just Say Hello to your fellow Angeleno.

Break barriers. Build bridges.
