Careers

The Civil + Human Rights and Equity Department (LA Civil Rights) is a city department focused on addressing bias, discrimination, and inequity within the City of Los Angeles. We are a small but passionate team of difference makers, and we welcome you to join our team. Click here to learn more about what we do.

LA Civil Rights is a unique place to work and pride ourselves in building and promoting an LA for All. Through its four pillars, LA Civil Rights staff operate various functions: Discrimination Enforcement, the Office of Racial Equity, Commissions Support, Finance, Management, Operations, and Communications.

LA Civil Rights also offers many contracting opportunities with community-based organizations throughout the year to support our programs.
