Scott Lee (he/him) is the Director of Legislative and Community Affairs for the Civil + Human Rights and Equity Department (LA Civil Rights).
Scott joins LA Civil Rights with over 30 years of public sector experience. He began his career at a non-profit organization in Los Angeles where he served as a Program Manager overseeing Community Health and Youth Development programs along with fund development, grant writing, public relations, and strategic initiatives. He then joined the City of Los Angeles Economic and Workforce Development Department where he led special initiatives in South Los Angeles and also served as the Executive Director of the Watts Youth Opportunity Movement and Boyle Heights Technology YouthSource Centers.
Scott transitioned to the Los Angeles World Airports where he served as the Workforce Director overseeing employer and community relations, subsidized work experience programs, strategic workforce partnerships, and the First Source Hiring Program.
Scott holds a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Scott resides with his wife and two boys in LA County.
