Roberto Robinson (he/him) serves as a Human Relations Advocate at the Civil + Human Rights and Equity Department (LA Civil Rights).
Prior to joining the LA Civil Rights Department, Roberto spent more than 17 years in the Bureau of Victim Services with the County of Los Angeles, District Attorney’s Office, where he first served as a Victim Advocate before supervising teams of victim advocates. In those roles, he worked with crime victims, families, and community partners to help people navigate the criminal justice system during difficult circumstances. Earlier in his career, Roberto worked as a job coach supporting adults with developmental disabilities and volunteered in the Emergency Department at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Roberto earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Science from the University of California, Berkeley, with an emphasis in consumer behavior. He is the proud father of three.
