Evelyn Marquez is a proud first-generation Mexican-American Latina from Lynwood, CA. Evelyn recently earned her Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Southern California (USC), where she also completed her B.A. in Non-Governmental Organizations and Social Change.

Evelyn is deeply passionate about immigrant rights advocacy, improving access to basic needs for students in higher education, and fostering community engagement. As an undergraduate, she volunteered with CARECEN and served as an assistant at the USC Immigration Clinic, where she interpreted and supported citizenship applications. During her graduate studies, Evelyn contributed to the operations of USC’s Trojan Food Pantry and later took on the role of volunteer program developer and coordinator.

In her free time, Evelyn enjoys cooking, watching documentaries, and dancing Folklorico, a passion she hopes to return to soon. She looks forward to connecting with and serving the vibrant Angeleno community.
