Christopher Lopez (he/him) graduated from San Jose State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Justice Studies. Throughout his studies, he focused much of his attention on the perception of mental health by both the public and the law with an emphasis on the importance of making sure those perceptions are fair and true. He has previously worked as a Research and Program Support Intern for the Mayor's Office of Public Safety (MOPS), he hopes to continue working with and within the city to learn and help ensure civil and human rights be readily accessible and justly enforced throughout all communities.

Christopher is part of the second generation of a Mexican immigrant family and grew up in the Burbank/Glendale area. It is without a doubt partially due to this upbringing that he carries strong values and passion towards the fair treatment and opportunity for communities of all backgrounds. In his free time, Christopher enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, as well as watching movies and shows.
