LA Civil Rights is proud to join the Los Angeles Office of Mayor Bass for April Second Chances Month, Re-Entry and Wellness Fair, a community-centered celebration of second chances, resilience, and resource connection.
This free event will directly support justice-impacted individuals and their families, underscoring Mayor Bass’s deep commitment to promoting dignity, safety, and wellness for all Angelenos. This event will bring together 50 second-chance employers, re-entry service providers, and community organizations, offering fair chance hiring, expungement services, housing assistance, financial coaching, and mental health resources.
LA Civil Rights will present a Civil Rights Enforcement informational workshop at 12:30. Participants will learn about their rights and the protections available under the City’s Civil and Human Rights Law, including how to identify and report discrimination in housing, employment, education, and commerce.
Attendees can also enjoy free food, music, and a day of community celebration.
Registration is preferred; please complete the Registration Form below.
We look forward to sharing community with you, as we create an environment of care and support for justice-impacted Angelenos.
