Please join LA Civil Rights Department, in celebration of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, for the panel, Rooted In Resilience: AANHPI Advocacy Through the Generations.
This panel will explore the rich histories, lived experiences, and ongoing civil rights journeys of AANHPI communities—locally and nationally. In Los Angeles, Asian Americans have long been at the forefront of movements for justice, equity, and inclusion.
Join us for a conversation that honors the multi-cultural heritage of the AANHPI community, while confronting the challenges of discrimination, stereotype threat, and the importance of solidarity and representation. Together, we’ll reflect on the legacy of activism and look ahead to the work that honors the intersections of heritage, identity, and advocacy.
