Aidan Lam (he/him) is a second-year student at the University of Southern California from outside Scranton, Pennsylvania. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics & Economics with a minor in Musical Studies. Aidan began his work with LA Civil Rights as a member of the USC Dornsife Agents of Change program, the first experiential undergraduate civil rights clinic in the nation. In the past, he served as a Youth Voice for It Gets Better for 2 years, partnering with nonprofits as well as developing educational outreach via media and workshops to promote inclusivity and representation for LGBTQ+ youth across the country. He is passionate about leveraging his lived experience as a first-generation low-income Queer POC into real, tangible policy and deliverables. As a Policy Fellow, he hopes to gain the skill-set necessary to drive real change. In his free time, you can find Aidan playing the piano or competing with USC’s Trial Advocacy program.
