Simona Grace is a working mom, nonprofit leader, and the founder of Moms in Office, a political action committee dedicated to electing moms to public office and advocating for policies that support working families. With a background in development and fundraising, she has worked across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors to advance gender equity, support mission-driven organizations, and build strategic partnerships.
She has been nationally recognized for her leadership, receiving the Visionary Leader of the Year Award in 2022 and being named California Mother of the Year in 2020. A frequent speaker and commentator on women’s rights, her work has been featured in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Ms. Magazine, USA Today, MSNBC, and more.
Originally from Hungary, Simona immigrated to the U.S. at 18 and earned a degree in Comparative Literature from UCLA, graduating summa cum laude, before completing Harvard Kennedy School’s Public Leadership Program. She lives in Sherman Oaks, balancing the demands of work and family, raising her teenage son, and enjoying long walks with their dog, Oliver—experiencing firsthand the challenges and joys of being a working mom, which continue to inspire her advocacy.
