On September 27, 2024, LA Civil Rights' Commission of the Status of Women (CSW), along with Councilwomen Nithya Raman (CD4) and Katy Yaroslavsky (CD5), hosted the 34th Annual Pioneer Women Awards. This year, 19 honorees were recognized for making a difference and paving the way for future generations of (S)heroes!
Since 1988, CSW and City leaders have proudly hosted the Pioneer Women Awards to uplift individuals who dedicate a significant part of their lives to promoting gender equity and advancing the status of women and girls in Los Angeles.
