LOS ANGELES - Today, LA Civil Rights added Arabic to its LA for All Campaign, a multilingual PSA campaign against hate and for inclusion, diversity and belonging that has become the largest anti-hate PSA campaign in LA City government  history.

Arabic is the 18th language to be added to the campaign since its launch in May 2021. Digital and physical LA For All assets are available to the public via a social media toolkit and poster request form.

The LA For All campaign shared both law enforcement and non-law enforcement resources for reporting hate crimes and hate incidents in Los Angeles. The LA For All message and framework works to counter hate by centering messages of inclusion and a celebration of diversity, and by making clear that Los Angeles is for everyone.

Language inclusion plays a critical role in advancing that messaging, so that communities from all parts of Los Angeles can feel seen, understood and served by the LA for All campaign and the city of Los Angeles.

Other languages in the campaign include: English, Spanish, Korean, Armenian, Tagalog, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Hindi, Khmer, Russian, Farsi, Hebrew, Amharic and Tigrinya.

Recent data from Los Angeles County show that reported hate crimes rose by 20% in 2020, following years of increases since at least 2016. Click here to read the full report.

If you have seen or experienced a hate crime or hate incident in Los Angeles, report it. You can call 311 or 211 to reach city and county resources, or 911 to reach law enforcement.
