Davida brings a wealth of experience from her role as the Policy, Planning, and Tenant Rights Deputy for the Los Angeles City Council, where she built strong partnerships with community-based organizations to shape equitable programs and champion policy initiatives addressing critical housing needs.

Beyond her work in local government, Davida has been deeply committed to empowering youth from low-income backgrounds through her efforts in the non-profit sector. Her passion for fostering equity-focused, sustainable change in education drives her dedication to creating lasting impact.

Davida is particularly passionate about exploring the intersection of policy, advocacy, and community engagement, striving to craft inclusive solutions that amplify diverse voices and foster meaningful progress.

When she’s not working, Davida enjoys cheering on the LA Sparks, hiking with her family, or hitting the dance floor with friends.
