Chandi Moore is a woman of the trans experience and is a nationally-recognized HIV facilitator, public speaker, and transgender rights activist. She became an immediate fan favorite on the El docuseries, "I Am Cait," with reality star and Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete Caitlyn Jenner. For more than ten years, Moore serves as a health educator at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), working closely with trans and gender non-conforming youth. On this role, she leads the program called BLUSH (Brave Leaders Unified to Strengthen Our Health) –  a multi-pronged and evidence-based approach in serving trans and Queer youth. She also worked with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for its “Act Against AIDS” Initiative (AAA) to educate and encourage community members to get tested for HIV and know their status as an act of self-care and empowerment.

She previously served as the co-chair of the Los Angeles County Transgender Service Providers Network (TSPN) and was named as one of The Advocate Magazine's "25 Trans Pioneers Who Took Us Past the Tipping Point in 2015", recipient of the Positive Images Statement of Courage Award. She was also named as Advocate of the Year of the Better Brothers Los Angeles, Quest Pageant’s Alexis Rivera Award, and most recently, was a part of the recipient of Billboard’s 2022 People’s Champion Award together with pop artist and performer Lizzo.
