In partnership with California State University, Northridge, LA Civil Rights and its Reparations Advisory Commission invite community members to join three collaborative working groups this month to brainstorm specific reparations ideas. All are welcome to participate in the small, in-person sessions. We hope to hear in particular from the following demographics that were underrepresented in responses to our Black Experience Study:
- Adults 18-35 years old
- Queer and trans Angelenos
- Formerly-incarcerated individuals
- People who have experienced or are experiencing homelessness
- Individuals without college degrees
