In celebration of Latino Heritage Month, observed from September 15 to October 15 each year, the LA Civil Rights Department is proud to present “Latinas Leading Change: Trailblazers in Advocacy, Philanthropy, Business, Academia, Entertainment, and Wealth,” on October 8, 2024, at 5:30 PM. at the Latino Theater Company. Parking will be available for $8.

This event aims to recognize the diverse and impactful contributions of Latinas to Los Angeles' social, economic, and cultural fabric. It specifically highlights the various ways Latinas are making an impact, fostering a more inclusive and equitable society, and empowering others to follow in their footsteps. It's a time for people of all backgrounds to learn about and highlight the rich cultural heritage that helps shape our City.
