"I Belong. You Belong. We Belong. Is the campaign message I decided to focus on because it represents me and my relationship to Los Angeles. Many of us do not live in Los Angeles, but enjoy visiting and exploring. Some of us may be in the process of moving from one place to LA which will take some time to adapt. Then there’s those who have lived in Los Angeles for many years who call it home. I want to remind people that we do not all start from the same place there’s people who suffer and face more injustices than others. I took this campaign message and made it into abstract art. This illustration from different colors, shapes and lines represent the people of LA and in the middle represents a guiding light. As long as we acknowledge and make adjustments to everyone’s needs we can keep LA safe."
