Francia Bent is the Senior Management Analyst II for the Civil + Human Rights and Equity Department (LA Civil Rights), serving under Executive Director Capri Maddox. In this role, Ms. Bent will co-lead the department’s Finance and Budget team with Nicole Bryant. Francia is smart, focused, and ready to move our budget and finance goals to the next level!
Ms. Bent joins LA Civil Rights with 6 years of City budget experience. Most recently, she was the Budget Team Manager for the LA Housing Department, where she led a team in creating the department’s $100 million dollar budget. Under her leadership, the team also submitted quarterly Financial Status Reports to the City Administrative Officer. She also oversaw the implementation and budget projections of new state and federal grants.
Ms. Bent is a native Angeleno. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Cal State Northridge.
Ms. Bent serves as a Governing Board Member at her daughter’s elementary school. She also assists her husband in coaching both their daughters little league baseball teams.
