Angela Hetherwick serves as a Senior Administrative Clerk for the Civil + Human Rights and Equity Department with the City of Los Angeles in the Discrimination Enforcement Unit.
Born and raised in the Midwest, Angela relocated to Los Angeles in 2010. She is a lifelong artist who is passionate about education, social justice, and equality. Angela hopes to serve the Los Angeles community through her work with LA Civil Rights. Angela’s City career began at the Los Angeles Public Library, serving the public. Angela most recently worked for ITA, at LACityView Channel 35, learning about TV production and government through this unique experience. Channel 35 misses Angela, but they are happy to see her with their unofficial "Sister Department"!
Through the University of Toledo, Angela earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a drawing concentration and a Master of Liberal Studies degree, focusing on social issues.
