Policy Fellow

Born and raised in Sacramento, the state’s hub for policy, Natalie first became engaged in public
service as a member on the Advisory Council to Sacramento City Unified School District’s
Board of Education. Since moving to Los Angeles, she has continued to be active in local
politics and public service, recently completing an internship with the Los Angeles County
Department of Regional Planning, where she worked on developing the South Bay Area Plan to
address urban planning concerns as Los Angeles continues to expand. In her current role as a
Policy Fellow with LA Civil Rights, Natalie hopes to continue advocating for equity for the
communities within Los Angeles.

Natalie is currently a third year at the University of California, Los Angeles and will graduate in
Spring 2024 with a B.A. in Public Affairs and a minor in Environmental Systems and Society. In
her free time, she enjoys running, spending time with friends, or trying a new restaurant in Los
Angeles.
