Eliyah Cohen (he/him) is a fourth-year student majoring in Public Affairs and minoring in Entrepreneurship. He is originally from the San Fernando Valley and in his free time, he loves to experience new cultures and spend time with friends and family!

Throughout his time at UCLA, he has had the privilege of serving the Bruin community through several student organizations. He was part of USAC for three years, starting in the Office of the President as an Internship Director, and later serving as a Chief of Staff for the External Vice President. As a Chief of Staff, he oversaw the local, state, and federal relations teams and spearheaded initiatives related to gun safety and affordable housing legislation. He is currently an Undergraduate Student Representative on the ASUCLA Board of Directors and Chair of the Finance Committee. He has also been a staunch advocate for LGBTQ student rights as a member of the LGBTQ Student Advocacy Committee and as a Resident Assistant in the Gender, Sexuality, and Society Living Learning Community.

His journey at UCLA has been enriched by his participation in some exceptional cohort-based programs, including the Chancellor's LINK program, the UCLA Social Enterprise Academy, and a global internship abroad this past summer at a German tech startup. This year, he is thrilled to be a policy fellow at the Los Angeles Civil Rights Department for his major's capstone.
